On the second day, we experienced one of my favorite parts of the trip: The Metropolitan Museum of Art. As a Gossip Girl enthusiast, I naturally had to take a picture sitting on the steps of the MET.

The museum was gorgeous and housed so many collections, so we did not have time to see everything. One of my favorite pieces was "Washington Crossing the Delaware." I did not know that painting was in the museum, so I was very surprised when I saw it. I would love to go back to the museum on a future visit to New York.

We ended the night with another trip to Grand Central Station. We met up with my brother's girlfriend, Sophia, who also happened to be visiting New York that weekend. We got milkshakes from Shake Shack.
